Commencement was with a motive to cheer on for the young innovators and participants from all across the country as their robots took the charge on playing arenas at the national robotics championship at IIT-Delhi premises. Student-made robots invaded the IIT, Delhi this past weekend, as more than 19 Indian states and international teams competed in the 1st annual Technoxian Celebration. The two-day event included a series of competitions, project expos, innovation fair, and culminated with award-winning teams advancing to represent the schools/colleges, states & region at the Technoxian- National level Championship.
Approximately 12,000 Indian and international students from Nigeria, Kenya, Nepal and SriLanka spent months researching, honing their skills, and perfecting their robotic creations to compete in the Technoxian National Championship events.
Times World Group in association with e-Cell, IIT-Delhi hosted the national level robotics championship Technoxian-2015, at IIT-Delhi campus. Schools and colleges celebrated achievement of their students in the field of robotics, science, technology and engineering which is portrayed when their faculties accompany them to the venue and set them free to choose from the option of technologies to learn from.
Thousands of students from around the country traveled to put their engineering skills at test during Technoxian grand finale 2015. Teams worked together to create innovative solutions to help communities prepare, stay safe or rebuild when a natural disaster occurs, then present their solutions to a panel of judges. Teams, guided by their imaginations and Technoxian coaches, discover exciting career possibilities and learn to make positive contributions to society. More than 3850 teams from the 19 states competed this year.
Challengers are given the real world challenges to build a real robot to complete the predefined task on the playing surface. Participating teams are guided by their imagination and instructors, explore career possibilities out of the provided interest areas and given options, through the process participant learn to make positive contributions to society.
In its 1st National Championship, the mega-competition featured lot many robotics and other advance technology programs: Sr. Robotics Competition, Jr. Robotics Competition, Android Champ, Ethical Hacker Champ, Quad/UAV Champ, Automobile Champ and Best Innovator offered by Technoxian 2015, an international nonprofit event that introduces students at various grade levels to the thrill of hands-on robotics, research, teamwork and inquiry-based problem-solving, in order to nurture a lifelong passion for STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) disciplines.
Technoxian rotates regions to advance to the World Championship due to a high number of participants/ teams internationally. Technoxian combines the excitement of sports with the rigors of science and technology. Under strict rules, limited resources, and time limits, teams of 615 school and engineering colleges are challenged to design a team “brand”, hone teamwork skills, and build or program a robot to perform prescribed tasks against a field of competitors.
